1000 Black Voices: The New York Trade Mission for tech founders (Day 2)

December 06, 2022... Following a full Day 1 of a series of tailored on-the-ground meetings with mentors and prospective investors (read here), the Black tech founders selected to attend the 1000 Black Voices (UK) Trade Mission to New York continued to gain insights and identify market opportunities - all with the support of the British Consulate General, New York.


Day 2 hosts were:

  • Rise, created by Barclays - a global community of the world's top innovators working together to create the future of financial services. Harvey Butler (Global Head of Supplier Diversity at Barclays) and Tanya Krishnakumar (Associate VP, FinTech Platform Manager) led the charge;

  • Venture capitalist firm, Visionario - a Puerto Rican, Haitian, American, and Jamaican partnership with a unique approach and strategy to making capital and insight available to the most promising startups.
